This website sets no cookies
That is the whole answer, and it is why you were not shown a consent banner when you arrived. Under § 25 TDDDG, consent is only required for storing information on your device or accessing information already stored there. We do neither.
What we do not use
- No cookies, of any category — not even "necessary" ones
- No local storage or session storage
- No web analytics: no Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible or comparable tool
- No tracking pixels, no conversion tracking
- No advertising network and no retargeting
- No social media plugins, share buttons or embedded feeds
- No chat widget
- No externally hosted fonts — our typefaces sit on our own server
- No consent management platform, because there is nothing to consent to
What happens when you visit
| Server log | Our hosting provider records the request — IP address, time, page, browser. This happens for every website and is deleted after a short period. Details in the privacy policy. |
|---|---|
| Images | Some photographs are currently loaded from the Unsplash content delivery network, so your IP address reaches their servers. No cookie is set in the process. We intend to move these onto our own server. |
| Contact form | Only what you type, and only when you press send. Nothing is stored in your browser beforehand, so a half-filled form is lost if you navigate away — that is a deliberate consequence of not using storage. |
Nothing to withdraw
Because no consent is collected, there is no consent to withdraw and no settings panel to manage. If you would still like to restrict what your browser sends to any website, the controls in your browser's privacy settings apply here as they do everywhere else.
If this changes
Should we later add a booking tool, a video embed or any measurement, that would very likely involve cookies or comparable technologies. In that case we would ask for your consent before anything is set, and this page and the privacy policy would be updated first.
