2. The short version

This website is deliberately quiet. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, has no tracking pixels, no advertising network, no social media plugins and no newsletter tool. Nothing is stored in your browser. The only data we receive is what your browser sends to load the page, and whatever you choose to type into the contact form.

3. Server log files

When you open this website, our hosting provider automatically records information that your browser transmits. This happens for every website and cannot be switched off without making the site unusable.

• Browser type and version, operating system
• Amount of data transferred and the HTTP status code

Purpose: delivering the website, maintaining stability and security, and investigating misuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation and security of this website.

4. Contact form

If you use the form in the contact section, the following is transmitted to us:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The situation you select, if you choose one
• The message you write
• Your IP address and the time of submission, recorded for abuse protection

The form contains a hidden field that is invisible to you but filled in by automated spam bots. Submissions in which this field is filled are discarded and never reach us.

The content is sent by email to hello@myfinancegermany.com and is not stored in a database on this website. Email is not an encrypted medium end to end — please do not send account numbers, ID documents, health information or other particularly sensitive data through this form.

Purpose: responding to your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us.
Retention: until your enquiry is fully dealt with, unless statutory retention periods under commercial or tax law require us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

5. Contact by phone or email

If you contact us directly by phone or email, the data you provide is used solely to deal with your request. The legal bases and retention periods are the same as for the contact form above.

6. Fonts

The typefaces used on this site are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service is established, and no data is transmitted to such providers when you visit.

7. Images from Unsplash

Some images on this website are currently loaded from the Unsplash content delivery network (Unsplash Inc., 20 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201, USA). When such an image is displayed, your browser connects to Unsplash's servers and your IP address is transmitted there. This can involve a transfer to the USA.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of this website. The transfer is based on the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
